Begum Salma Ahmed is the former member of National Assembly. She was also the president of Pakistan's first women's camber of commerce (WCCI) and is the President of Pakistan Association of Women Entrepreneurs (PAWE). She has an honour of being the first woman in ship-breaking industry between 1979-1983. She took the lead in setting the pace for female entrepreneurs in an Islamic country.
