Nadeem Chawhan

Nadeem Chawhan, a senior facilitator and consultant at Navitus, has been called “The Vizier of Storytelling” due to his enigmatic, humorous and insightful style of engaging audiences. His ability to be flexible enough to relate to senior leadership teams and college going students has earned him the reputation of being one of Pakistan’s leading speakers. For almost a decade, Nadeem has been training with thousands of people on a variety of topics that ultimately come down to one simple message. How can we as people release our hidden potentials to be even better at living our lives?

Nadeem obtained his MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). He has worked with a variety of companies prior to venturing into the field of organizational development consulting. He is certified in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and has been through various Master Classes in Business Narrative. He believes that to create change is not a simple notion and requires a methodology that deals with complexities inherent in human nature. Nadeem feels that storytelling and simplifying concepts for easy consumption and action is the only way positive change can be brought to people, organizations and societies.

Nadeem is married and lives in Islamabad with his son.

Kamran Rizvi

Kamran Rizvi is a founding director, trainer, executive coach, keynote speaker and consultant at Navitus, a leading organization development (OD) consulting and training firm in the country. He brings innovative, effective and practical strategies for implementing change in a variety of organizations striving to grow, build sustainability, and improve productivity, efficiency, quality and impact.

Kamran pioneered the personal-improvement and OD movement in Pakistan in 1991, after working for fourteen years in retail and commercial banking in the Middle East and the UK.

He specializes in behavioral and organizational change and is a well-known inspirational speaker. Kamran facilitates learning programs locally and internationally for the corporate sector, non-profits and youth to enhance their managerial and leadership effectiveness, covering inspirational and visionary leadership; out-of-box thinking; change leadership; team performance; mentoring & coaching for excellence and the like.

He regularly writes leadership and management articles for Blue Chip, a leading business magazine of Pakistan. Kamran obtained his MBA degree from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, where he majored in organization development. He is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Inc., having completed courses in Management; Executive Image; and Effective Speaking and Human Relations. He has also attended a number of courses that include “Leadership for the 21st Century”, at the J F K School of Government, Harvard University; Dr Peter Senge's “The Learning Organization – Building a Sustainable Future”; and “Strategic Leadership and Change Management” at the Wharton SMU Program, in Singapore. Kamran is an approved training resource for members of YPO (Young Presidents Organization), headquartered in the United States.

Kamran loves to devote his time facilitating leadership programs for youth locally and internationally. To this end, he serves on the board of School of Leadership (SoL) in Pakistan, best known for its flagship program, the Young Leaders’ Conference (YLC), now in its 9th year. He is also a board member of ICLS (Intercultural Communication & Leadership School) headquartered in Rome, Italy. He is invited to conduct sessions on leadership, internationally, to encourage confidence building between young community leaders from different cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds.

He frequently speaks at corporate annual conferences on topics of contemporary management interest and has also been invited as a key note speaker by the National Defense College, Pakistan Administrative Staff College (PASC), and a number of universities, colleges and schools.

Kamran serves major multinational and local companies, private voluntary organizations, educational institutes and public sector agencies.

He is married, has three grown up children, and is based in Pakistan.

Mansur-Ur-Rehman Khan

Mr. Mansur-Ur-Rehman Khan has been appointed as Banking Ombudsman by the President of Pakistan. Previously he was serving as Deputy Governor, State Bank of Pakistan supervising the Corporate Services & Research Clusters of the Bank comprising of Human Resources, Business Support Services, Information Systems & Technology, Finance, Payment Systems, Training & Development, Treasury Operations, Museum & Art Gallery Departments and Economic Advisor’s Office.
He has over 40 years experience in different positions in the State Bank. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Governor he was Executive Director (Banking) and supervised the work of Banking Policy, Banking Inspection, and Banking Supervision Departments.

His responsibilities included, inter-alia, formulation of Prudential Regulations on Know-Your Customers and other areas of Anti Money Laundering, setting up of Financial Monitoring Unit for collection, analysis and processing of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) coordination with investigation agencies, liaising with APG Sectt. and other international groups on AML, and coordination with banks on AML related issues and dealing with complaints of individuals against banks prior to creation of Office of Banking Ombudsman. Besides he served as Director on the Board of House Building Finance Corporation, Small Business Finance Corporation, Pak-Kuwait Investment Company, Member, Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) Council, Member, Policy Board of Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Member on the Board of Pakistan Security Printing Corporation and Member on the Board of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan.

He has acted as Chairman of the Committee for developing Model Contracts for Islamic modes of financing in the country. He also served as Secretary to Banking Laws Review Commission.

His overseas assignments include Member, Technical Committee of Islamic Financial Services Board, Chairman Supervisory Review Process Working Group and Deputy Chairman of the Risk Management Working Group of the Islamic Financial Services Board, Malaysia and Member, SAARC Payments Council. He has attended various Conferences/Meetings/Courses and presented papers at different national and international levels.

Mahmood Lodhi

Mahmood Lodhi, the reigning national chess champion, holds the record of having claimed the crown on the highest number of occasions. He has been Pakistan’s highest rated International Master for a long time.
Hailing from the Punjab’s industrial town of Gujranwala, he appears on course of becoming Pakistan’s first-ever Grand Master of chess. He has been national champion for 12 years running now. He was ranked 2,475 in the world in 1993-94, which was then the highest-ever for Pakistan.
He has participated in various international tournaments over the years despite the limited support from the Chess Federation of Pakistan. He has, however, been supported overwhelmingly by the Mind Sports Association of Pakistan, having been founded just a few years ago.
He was recently appointed as Brand Ambassador of a leading oil company. Chess has been in his blood as all his four brothers were into it but he is the only one to have turned professional. They inherited chess from their father who was a colonel in Army.

Aziz Memon

Aziz Memon, a famed entrepreneur and an acclaimed social worker, was recently conferred the prestigious Pride of Performance award by President Asif Ali Zardari in a graceful ceremony at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Pakistan Day. He was decorated with the medallion in recognition of his outstanding and exceptional contribution in the field of public service for a number of years.
It’s another feather in the cap of Aziz Memon whose contribution in humanitarian and community services has been legendary. He has been the recipient of the Rotary International’s highest award ‘Service Above Self’ as well as the coveted award of Leader of the Leaders. He was the District Governor of Rotary International for Pakistan and Afghanistan in the year 2007-08. He has also been Chairman of the Cutchi Memon Markazi Jamat.
Acclaimed as a role model in the field of industry and commerce he is Chairman of the Kings Group, a conglomerate of eight companies, with the core business being manufacturing and exporting knitted garments to the European and USA markets. He is Honorary Consul General, Republic of Suriname, besides being Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Karachi Garment City, a project of Ministry of Textiles, Government of Pakistan.
He holds the honour of being the Founder President of Pakistan Japan Business Forum, President of Pakistan Italy Business Forum, Former Director Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and senior member of Pakistan German Business forum. He has been Chairman of Citizen Police Liaison Committee.
